FOUNDER & PRESIDENT

Joe Urbanowicz, Founder and President of the Flight 93 Beamer Foundation, together with his wife Karen have had a heart for making a difference in students' lives with the love of Christ for many years. Working with the public schools they have been able to provide many opportunities to build relationships with students and their families and impact them with the life changing message of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. They served as volunteer high school youth leaders for 40 years, and continue to mentor and encourage youth leaders and workers. Joe and Karen are involved in all of the current after school programs and summer Sports Camps run by the Foundation. Joe also served for years as a member of the Board of Education in his hometown district and is the Director of Facilities for an area school district. Joe and Karen have three children, Elizabeth, Timothy and Danielle. They have six grandchildren whom they love to visit and spend time with!

DIRECTOR

Krystel Heady, Director of the Flight 93 Beamer Foundation, together with her husband Travis have a combined passion for discipleship, theology, and youth ministry. They were married in October 2024 and are currently high school youth leaders as well as serving together at Soccer & Pizza Nights. Travis works in a local school district in the IT department. Krystel spent time serving in youth camp ministry for many years and mentored college age students as part of a biblical counseling program. As the Director of the Foundation she is involved in all of the after school programs and is looking towards the future direction of the vision and ministry. Krystel is excited to see how the Lord continues to work through all of the wonderful volunteers across all programs to reach youth! In their free time, Krystel and Travis love hiking together, watching British dramas, and baking/cooking!
